Futura Alpacas was established in 1993 by Greg & Judy Smith

Over time we have established our herd through purchases and selective breeding, concentrating on fleece traits of finess, density and loads of character on well conformed animals.

In 2005 we relocated to Albany on the South Coast of Western Australia and became full time alpaca farmers. Our 100 acre property is in the mild climate region of W.A. with high rainfall ensuring lush pastures - perfect alpaca country.

With our focus now 100% on alpacas, we have raised our profile in the industry, including the show ring. We are keen exhibitors at all 4 Western Australian shows and now intend to show each year at the Australian Alpaca Association National Show.

Our multi award winning stud males are available for outside stud matings and we also offer a range of females to suit new and existing breeders. We proudly present “Futura Alpacas” as a breeder of quality animals for the Australian and International market.
